Incompressible
Incompressible captures water at the moment it begins to turn upon itself. The current coils, tightens, then unwinds in successive ripples: kinetic energy born from almost nothing, a slight imbalance of pressure.
Close-up views reveal the inner mechanics of the whirlpool — light gliding across surfaces, particles drawn to the centre and released again — echoing the force of natural vortices, from the eddies of a stream to the spirals of the oceans.
The water is seen twice: by each drop that travels, and by the still space it passes through. Between the two, a silent agreement — nothing is lost, nothing is packed tighter, what flows in must flow out. From this dialogue the eddies are born, and they do not fade.
